I went for a last minute shoot yesturday. It was a pretty average sunset by QLD standards lately but I really enjoyed myself. It was mega windy so the water looks wierd.

I love what the wind has done to the water. Adds wonderful texture. Beautiful shot. :-)

The wind looked awesome when I was there; you could watch the wind moving across the water like some invisible stone skimming on the surface.

Awesome!
Love the light & colours! The blues give it a real cool, surreal feel to it.
The 44 gallon drum (?) is positioned nicely too.
And very sharp! :thumbsup:

Thanks again! Yeah the sky was pretty intense at that time of the day; it always ends up that crazy blue if you under expose (in this case -2/3 ev). Regarding the drum position, well...I kinda cheated. This is actually a 3 part panorama so the file size is huge, it gives one scope. I added a 'rule of thirds' grid to the pic and then cropped untill the front of the drum intersected with one of the nodes.
